Philanthropic Events:

-Various 5k runs benefiting a variety of causes (Ex:  Autism Speaks, The Four Diamonds Fund)

-Kids 4 Kids

A soccer tournament held on the Penn State campus by a group of Phi Kappa Tau Alumni.  Soccer teams of various age groups from all across Pennsylvania participate in one of the biggest soccer tournaments of the area.

-Penn State Dance Marathon (THON)

The biggest student run philanthropy in the world, as well as a Penn State tradition.  I participated in canning during canning weekends for four years, as well as various other events benefiting THON in between.  During my final year as an undergrad, I was chosen to dance in THON.  Dancing in THON (no sleeping, no sitting for 46 hours) is seen as a tremendous honor.  Along with another senior, the two of us were the only two chosen to participate from our organization.
