Short Introduction: I am a social media enthusiast passionate about connecting consumers with the brands they use. Transparency, communications, and online community building are key areas of interest for me. Longer Introduction: As a professional working in the social media field I excel in finding new solutions to old problems. With a background in journalism and online media I work to ensure that the people behind the brands are able to effectively connect and share with their audiences and consumers. In my role as product manager for PBS Engage, a grant funded initiative to "put the public back in public media" I conceptualized and oversaw the development and lifecycle of a suite of social media products for use on PBS.org, national producer web sites as well as local TV station web sites.
