·Leadership of 5 IT departments supporting Moving Services:Domestic Applications, Canadian Applications, International Applications, Specialty Products Applications, and Business Systems Support.Applications include: Lead Management, Estimating, Rating, Registration, Planning, Dispatch, Revenue Processing, Compensation, Claims, and many other non-core applications.Technology platform is mixed:Mainframe, Midrange, and Server based.
·7 Direct reports with 76 indirect including on and offshore outsourced staff.
·Major initiatives through 2009 include mainframe applications re-platforming (5.5MM capital project), Claims systems consolidation to server based application, Planning and Dispatch systems rewrite and consolidation to server based application.
·Capital budget 6.8MM.Expense budget $4.2MM.
·Outsourcing Contract Management:Alliance management and contract negotiation with infrastructure and applications support contractors ACS and CSC.Contracts are approximately $11 million per year.

·Operations Support:Directed the development and support of key financial applications (PeopleSoft, GEAC, Hyperion, Ariba, PurchasingNet) for Moving Services operations.Support team size - 27 headcount.
·Divisions Merger:Managed the merger of North American Van Lines and Allied Van Lines IT Systems.Leader of a joint team of Business and IT executives directing the business and system transition.Directly responsible for managing business requirements and the IT team to attain a complete merger by Jan 1, 2008.Scope included merging of all operations and financial applications, front and back office.Directing activities of 75+ resources managing 50+ integrated projects over 15 months.Budget $3.5 million.
·Discontinued Operations:Directed the technology aspects of the selling and separation of 6 divisions designated as discontinued operations due to corporate focus on core Sirva businesses.The 2 largest earned $25-30 million each in revenue.Led the transition support of the separations including IT due diligence, meeting with potential buyers, supplying information concerning the state of the infrastructure and contract negotiation.Separated businesses from a system perspective including build and migration from Sirva Data Center and mainframe to new DC and MF.Migrated all business systems including financial package, custom business applications, web sites, email, etc.Team size 90-100 resources.35 direct reports.Budget for transition - $1.5 million (excluding internal resource cost.)
·Sarbanes Oxley:Leadership of IT SOX worldwide.Responsible to ensure SOX compliance.Write and renew SOX process documentation.Provide oversight for internal audits.Develop and deploy SOX awareness campaigns.
·Program Management Office:Leadership of PMO group:Responsible to put new PMO in place including PMO repository, PMO processes, IT Scorecard and compliance to common methodology.
Interim CIO of European operations.Asked to fill position due to unexpected departure of previous CIO.Staff of 30 with budget of $2.6 million.
