Currently a senior at Elon University in Elon, NC, I am both excited and greatly anticipating entering the workforce in the Spring of 2011. I am a strategic communications student with extensive experience and knowledge in the public relations, marketing and advertising fields. Over the past three years, I have cultivated essential skills and experience that will make me an asset to any organization. I am highly motivated, talented, driven and a proven strategic thinker.

Aside from my career aspirations, I am originally from the Kansas City area and have lived since in Carlisle, PA, Boston, MA and now have found myself in North Carolina. I am an avid ballet fan and former dancer and thoroughly enjoy the arts.

-Was promoted from Account Executive to Team Leader within four months of hire date at Live Oak Communications, a student-run PR agency who works with professional clients.

-Familiar with the inner-workings of an agency through my experience with Live Oak Communications; Additionally, familiar with organizing marketing and public relations efforts for a non-profit through work with the Edible Schoolyard at Greensboro Children’s museum.

Instructed and Choreographed for Walnut Hill School's Youth Summer Dance program. I worked closely with established instructors in the field and gained significant teaching experience. Choreographed an original piece entitled "Beale Street Blues" for the students to perform in their final showing. Taught ballet, pointe and modern dance classes to students aged 10-12.
