With a regional base of nearly 10,000 alumni from among the 16 graduate and undergraduate schools of Columbia University, the CUAASC plans and implements a wide range of activities and events to engage and benefit those alumni.

Working with political figures, government agencies and the many branches of law enforcement which operate on LA's Westside to deal with traffic and transportation issues.

Participate in an interactive forum with community leaders and the LAPD to identify and initiate solutions to the problems facing our communities, specifically crime, traffic, quality of life issues while increasing civic involvement.

Created by the Los Angeles City Charter in 2000, this council, recognized as the most active and successful of the LA's Neighborhood Councils, functions as an advisory body to the Los Angeles City government on a variety of issues relevant to the 26,000 households it represents.

Homeowners organization and advocacy group representing over 2,500 homeowners dealing with wide-ranging issues from safety and land use to lobbying for adoption and enforcement of city and state laws governing traffic, building codes, conservancy of land and preservation of ridgelines from overdevelopment.

Reorganized and ran development with the goal of operating and fundraising in a more organized, professional and fiscally responsible manner. Helped establish a new business model which may allow the non-profit drug and alcohol rehab to sustain itself through business ventures and not rely entirely upon donors to support operational costs.

Established an innovative dining concept featuring a new take on healthier eating. Developed and marketed a business plan using demographic studies, market analysis, financial projections, and cost and customer analysis; raised funds through the sale of investment shares to qualified investors.

Recruited to establish controls and improve performance in advance of the impending sale of the company. As the head of corporate risk at a company with over 1,000 employees and 27 subsidiaries in 22 states, my goal was to minimize exposure to risk and reduce liabilities making it attractive to buyers.

Developed a client list of accomplished writers, directors and producers, identified and fostered new talent and sold client services to studio films, indy films, network and cable episodic television, long form television and internet programming. Developed materials, negotiated deals, wrote deal memos and supervised all stages of the contracts while looking for creative ways to improve deals for my clients outside of the “boilerplate” agreements. Responsible for daily and routine operations of running an entertainment business including overseeing client and operational accounting, creating and maintaining relationships with the guilds and the federal, state and local governments which oversee operations of agencies.
