Skills

Skills

Ability to communicate verbally with people inside and outside an organization

For the past three years, I have been in ASB for school, and now I have the highly valued role of being the lead Parliamentarian. This means I'm in charge of all of the schools elections and club organizations. Having to managing homecoming, senior, and executive elections while also managing over 60 clubs has taught me to use my time management wisely and productively. I'm constantly having to speak to the class and the school administration to approve clubs and time schedules. I also speak to companies outside of school in order to order food and ballots for up coming elections.

Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.

Having a very active lifestyle can be stressful at times, but over time I have learned to overcome the anxiety build up and organize my work productively. Juggling school work, waterpolo practices, and volunteer duties is now an easy situation for me now than I have an planned and organized schedule.

The ability to work in a team

Being a Varsity team captain for my girls high school water polo team has taught me responsibility, sportsmanship, and team work. Having to deal with stressful situations while under pressure from my coach is an obstacle I have learned to tackle. My team looks to me for advice and leadership, but working together as a team has made us very successful.
