Assistant Manager/ Sales Manager

Blockbuster Video

The time I spent at Blockbuster was exceptional. I not only grew as an employee, but also as a person. I started working part time for the fist six months then full time untill my departure. After a year I was promoted to shift leader and withen three months was promoted to assistant manager/ sales manager. My duties included; training new hires, making bank deposits,opening and closing shifts keeping track of  indivdual and store sales goals on a weekly basis. Above all I dealt with customer complaints at my level to prevent any corporate involvment.

I started out at Sizzler as a cahier, withen a months time I was promoted to become a server because of all the hard work and dedication I put into my work. In my five months of employment I was assigned to opening duties as well as closing, I also worked on register as a host whenever there was a shortage on hand. In my third month at Sizzler I was awarded employee of the month. My time at Sizzler was cut short because the lease on the building was to expire and renewing it would cost too much.
