A highly trained therapist, Jayne Lessard remains active with a number of professional groups related to counseling and therapy. These include the American Association of Christian Counselors, the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Possessing a diversity of formal training and clinical expertise, Jayne Lessard holds both a bachelor of science in physical education and a master of arts in clinical psychology, both degrees conferred with honors from Wheaton College. In a continuance of her professional training, she served as an intern with Charter Mandala Psychiatric Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she worked with a variety of adolescents and adults in therapeutic and educational settings. Later, she worked as clinical director of the High Point Family Service Agency in North Carolina, in which role she headed the clinical psychological services program and maintained relationships with relevant agencies and organizations.
Jayne Lessard currently works in her own private therapy practice in High Point, North Carolina, where she helps clients work through matters pertaining to low self-esteem, life transitions, and marital issues. In addition to working with patients, she supports charitable causes such as Compassion International.
