About Jay Hoffman

Currently a member of the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy Board of Visitors, Jay Hoffman contributed to the formation of U.S. foreign policy during the Reagan administration and into the 1990s. He founded a foreign relations and political strategy consultancy in 1986 and provided representation for clients from Russia, South Africa, Japan, Taiwan, and other countries. As a professional film producer, Jay Hoffman produced numerous television documentaries that presented balanced investigations of contentious U.S. foreign policy issues.

Continuing to work in film production, Mr. Hoffman possesses 20 years of experience in the field and, in 2008, co-founded the Los Angeles-headquartered film production, development, and finance company, 28 Entertainment. Among the multiple films he currently has in development or post-production is a yet-to-be-titled biopic of the Country Music Hall of Fame-inducted artist George Jones. He previously served as executive producer for the 28 Entertainment production, Deep in the Heart, an award-winning drama based on an uplifting true story. Over the course of his career, Jay Hoffman has also produced such feature films as Mother of Normandy, Pure Country 2, September Dawn, and several others.

Mr. Hoffman serves on The Ronald Reagan Legacy Foundation board of directors and maintains lifelong membership in the Ronald Reagan Alumni Association.
