Marketing Director Jaya Vadlamudi completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. As a full-time student, Jaya Vadlamudi served as a Junior Account Executive Intern with Baltimore-based Warschawski Public Relations, named Small Agency of the Year for the U.S. in 2006, 2007, and 2008 (Holmes Report and PR News). In her role with Warschawski Public Relations, Vadlamudi supported the management team by coordinating press kits and writing web articles. Jaya Vadlamudi also demonstrated her diligent work ethic by conducting competitive research to develop business strategy, leading to a 25% increase in client acquisition. Following her graduation, Jaya Vadlamudi joined investment bank Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Marketing Associate. Vadlamudi created marketing strategies incorporating collateral such as brochures and newsletters to increase private client revenue. Responsible for the development of company websites, Jaya Vadlamudi wrote over 50 articles for the firm’s homepage and implemented new features. Jaya Vadlamudi became the first Marketing Associate in Morgan Stanley Dean Witter history to receive a performance bonus. For her efforts, Jaya Vadlamudi was also selected as a spokesperson to represent her team for an internal radio network reaching over 10,000 employees. Jaya Vadlamudi applied her success as an Associate to her second professional position as Marketing Manager with international auction house Sotheby's. Vadlamudi developed the company's print advertising and other promotional media to market auctions, maintaining working relationships with widely distributed news sources like the New York Times and Vanity Fair. Her marketing plans for more than 15 departments resulted in the sale of a $28.5 million painting and works of art by famous painters, including Picasso and Warhol. In addition to her client outreach, Jaya Vadlamudi coordinated budgets with senior business directors. Most recently, Jaya Vadlamudi served as Senior Marketing Manager with Los Angeles-based fashion company Maxrave, a division of BCBG Max Azria. Vadlamudi conducted market research to determine operative demographics and combined print, web, and social networking to create brand marketing to target those consumers. Additionally, Jaya Vadlamudi collaborated with retail clients and personnel to manage in-store events such as the Pepsi Summerbash Concert Sweepstakes. Vadlamudi created positive brand association and significant revenue increases in featured stores. In her leisure time, Jaya Vadlamudi volunteers with the Midnight Mission Housing Project in Inglewood.
