The activities include Management of Air Cargo Complexes at Trivandrum and Kozhikode International Airports, Marketing of various products through its Sales emporia at three centres viz. Cochin, Trivandrum and Calicut, Hosting an E-business portal to cater the gifting needs of people both inside and outside the country. In addition to this ours is the Virtual Office for APEDA in the State of Kerala. KSIE also runs a Soap manufacturing Unit viz Kerala Soaps at Kozhikode which produces toilet and detergent soaps. Could procure a certificate from Tahsildar(Land Acquistion), Eloor indicating that sufficient land had been acquired by them for NH and also certifying that no further acquisition is needed from our CFS area for any other purpose. This is secured through vital field work as getting such certificate from a Tahsildar is quite difficult because such certificate should be issued only on getting concurrence from Project Director NHAI, PWD, Other Tahsildars, Ministers Office, Panchayath Village Office etc. The Certificate was very much needed to produce before Ministry of Commerce, Government of India for getting sanction for setting up a CFS and hence the importance. Surveyed the CFS land in coordination with Tahsildar Paravur and Village Officer Eloor Had discussion with environmentalists who were died against the cutting and removal of trees from the CFS site and could manage them to an extent to get the trees cut though the matter got disseminated publically through many visual and print media. Could procure the Building Permit from Eloor Grama Panchayath for the first phase of CFS on having good rapo with the Panchayath Personnel Could procure sanction from Eloor Panchayath & Travancore Cochin Chemicals Ltd for dumping the soil excavated from the site. For your information, the total land to be cut is around 36000 m3 and the filling only 19000 m3. The rest is to be shifted to another place for smooth functioning of the land development work and there
