With over 15 years of experience in Silicon Valley, Jason Strober brings a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to his current undisclosed entrepreneurial project, which he started in early 2010. Mr. Strober recently developed one of the first ping tree systems with Swish Marketing, Inc., a company he co-founded. Initially located in Palo Alto, California, the company generated value by selling leads in real-time to buyers based on a range of criteria. As Head of Engineering, Jason Strober built the technology and oversaw the engineering team. Unbent Media eventually bought the company and moved it to Redwood City, California. Before developing the ping tree concept, Jason Strober co-founded Treasure Games, Inc. The computer gaming company leveraged the networking ability of the Internet to bring players together, forming online tournaments offering monetary prizes to skilled players. As co-founder, he built the initial business plan, hired the engineering team, and managed the implementation of the technology. Jason Strober’s concept involved building an application-programming interface to allow third-party game developers to access the code and create games for the company. He also managed the firm's search engine optimization, marketing, brand strategy, and underlying user statistics. After just 18 months, the company sold to GameAccount, a UK-based firm.Jason Strober’s two most recent companies followed a successful period as Partner of VantagePoint Venture Partners. As a Venture Capitalist, Mr. Strober focused on the areas of Internet media, eCRM, and network infrastructure. He also held previous positions with FocaLink, Montgomery Securities, and Anderson Consulting.Jason Strober holds a Master's degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also studied Symbiotic Systems, Computer Science, and Psychology at Stanford University. He resides in the Silicon Valley area with his wife and three children.
