As an owner and partner in Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Nanuet, New York, Dr. Jason Fond draws on extensive specialized training. A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, he completed a general surgery internship as well as an orthopedic surgery residency at the nearby Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Jason Fond then went on to a sports medicine fellowship at Georgetown University's Arlington Hospital, where he also served as a team physician at George Mason University and as an assistant team physician for the Washington Redskins.
Dr. Jason Fond opened his current practice shortly after completing his residency. In 2007, he took on an additional position as the director of orthopedic surgery at New York's Nyack Hospital. Dr. Fond served as secretary and treasurer of the hospital's medical staff from 2010 to 2012 and has since advanced to the position of staff president. In 2014, he received the hospital's Doctor of the Year award. Board certified in orthopedic surgery with additional subspecialty certification in sports medicine, he also serves as the team physician at Dominican College and St. Joseph's Regional High School and as a consultant to the Florida Marlins.
