James is a flexible, enthusiastic, and hard-working educator with a passion for technology and technology integration into classrooms. He has a knowledge of hardware and software that can be used in the classroom to enrich learning and is currently working on a Masters in Instructional Technology at NC State. In this time he has learned about blended learning, flipped classrooms, and many successful models of e-learning that have changed schools from traditional "brick and mortar" classrooms to those that meet the needs of their students in exciting ways.
In his time with the Alamance-Burlington School System, he has worked with his grade level team to implement new technologies, such as Smartboards and Web 2.0 tools, and use it in engaging ways in the classroom. He is also a member of the Technology Team at his current job at B. Everett Jordan Elementary.
