 Language skills

I speak French and English as I was born in France so I am a citizen of both France and New zealand.

Till and table service skills

For the last 7 or so months I have been working as front of house at Kokako Cafe. The team there trained me up for the different jobs front of house requires and I have be perfecting these skills ever since .

Computer skills

I have some personal experience in Photoshop and have also completed a Photoshop course at the YooBee school. I also do a lot of Photoshop through out school.

Caring for others

For 3-4 years over my past holidays I have been volunteering to work at horse riding camps in the Bay of Islands over my school breaks, taking care of the children from the ages 4-14 year old  that were attending the camp. I have worked along side of several different wwoofers from different countries. I was working long hours working on the farm under any conditions and also making sure that the camp children were getting fed at the right times and most of all that they were safe on and around the horses.

Health and safety skills

I did a first aid course at the end of 2014 and I'm doing a food health and safety course at school now.

Food-handling and preparation

I have always helped or prepared food for my self and others for as long as I can remember. I also grew up with my mother as one of the best bakers in Auckland. I am constantly surrounded by food and I am enthusiastic to learn more about it.

At school I am taking photography and hard materials technology, as I enjoy making things with my hands also doing a hands on practical job lets my imagination balloon  with ideas.

Working with hands

I'm a very hands on person and at school I take a majority of subjects that are more practical subjects. I take hard materials (wood work) as a subject and this is both a hands on work and physical work. For the last two year I was a high achiever in this subject, I was also awarded for outstanding achievement in hard materials at the end of 2014.

Front of house

Kokako Café

It depends on the day and what the manager needs me to do but I would normally work either on the till or on the floor, waiting tables and running food. The one thing I try to do for every customer that I survive is to make them walk out of the restaurant feeling better than when they came in. I enjoy making sure that they have the best experience and making them feel happy.

Horse Camp Coordinator

Redcliffs Equestrian

I had been working at Redcliffs during most of my holidays. My job there was to make sure that the camp ran smoothly and to do any extra work that I was asked for, which included:

  • Supervising and instructing children on horses
  • Meal preparation and cooking
  • General farm work
  • Cleaning

Interests and hobbies

I love to travel and interact with people, I like learning new things and I am passionate about design. I also love working in hospitality and would be really interested in working behind a bar and leaning about all different drinks. My long term plan is to study landscape and urban design and achieve a bachelor citification in this degree.
