  • COMPANY LAUNCH  Conceptualized and implemented all aspects of the business model:  mission, vision values; naming; branding; membership recruiting; and event production.  Ensures each touch point resonates with the business model.
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT and FUNDRAISING  Created platform for corporate sponsorship opportunities for companies to partner with the community via live events, product and service marketing, and thought leadership content.

Hired to overhaul the fiscal infrastructure, with particular attention paid to risk management, compliance, fiscal sustainability, financial budgeting and reporting, and employee productivity and engagement.  Member of senior management team.  Served on retirement planning committee.  Led investment, audit, and allocations board committees.

  • INFRASTRUCTURE and CHANGE MANAGEMENT  Overhauled all treasury activities, revenue recognition and cash management processes, policies, and procedures. Designed and implemented financial reporting packages and manuals for mid-managers, senior management, and board of directors.  Hired, trained, and mentored finance team.

Hired to create and implement a transparent fiscal infrastructure for Headquarters and 24 regional offices.  Responsible for all daily fiscal activities, regulatory and compliance functions as revenues grew from $50M to $100M in less than two years. Oversaw annual audit and all funding audits.  Hired, trained, and mentored a team directors, managers, and staff.  Partnered with Human Resources team on nationally executed technology automations and process, policy and procedure overhauls.  

  • TECHNOLOGY PROJECT LEADERSHIP  Co-led the development of an online Time and Attendance system to ensure a seamless integration among human resource, payroll, and accounting systems.   Created usage protocols and conducted regional sales trainings.

  • CROSS-FUNCTIONAL OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP  Overhauled operating processes, implemented internal controls, streamlined patient billing and inventory control, converted multiple software programs, and improved business acumen for staff at headquarters and 12 health care facilities.

Held fiscal responsibility for organization’s budget, investment strategy, and retail stores. Led budget implementation, monthly closes, department planning, audit oversight, and financial statement preparation and analysis. Oversaw all regulatory compliance.

  • TECHNOLOGY AUTOMATIONS  Led fiscal implementation of an on-line banking system that enabled customers to pay via Internet for product sales. Co-led web based platform implementation to automate fee-for-service revenue stream.

Built and directed fiscal infrastructure, covering all activities from transaction processing to internal reporting.  Created and implemented month-end closing process. Responsible for year-end close and all internal financial statements.  Served as audit lead.

  • COST ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION  Designed Medicis' first cost accounting system for all products. Created and implemented standard operating procedures serving the national sales team, R&D, Q&A, and the manufacturing partners.

Beauty Consultant during graduate school.  Sold at Younkers, a division of Saks.  Consistently maintained top sales per hour.  Created and nurtured relationships with clientele.  Organized spa events. 


Seiferts | An upscale, boutique chain

Fashion Consultant during undergraduate.  Sold on the floor, launched professional networking series to drive a more diverse demographic into the store, modeled, and organized in-store events. Held opening and closing responsibilities. 

The Depot | A family owned apparel chain

Literally "grew up" in fashion.  As a teen, sold on the floor and held responsibility for visual merchandising, buying, inventory control, and organizing and modeling in fashion shows.  Developed deep community relationships.  Voted best dressed in high school.
