WHAT I DO: I help brands and businesses engage audiences and send their message and stories across through targeted communication channels. These include B2B enterprise case studies, internal organizational communications, focused features on major digital publications, and also network connections.

WHO I WORK WITH: I have done work with top Fortune 500 technology companies, as well as numerous tech startups, incubators and accelerators in the Asia Pacific, European Union, and West Asia, both directly and indirectly. Some examples include Microsoft, Rocket Internet, Pollenizer, Kickstart, and more. I have had dealings with these organizations in various capacities as content developer, content strategist and writer for Wings4u, Inbound Junction and e27.

WHY IT WORKS: Communication mediums are always evolving, but one thing remains constant: businesses will need a good communications strategy in order to have the best and biggest impact among target audiences.

HOW I DO IT: I'm an early adopter, and I'm familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of mediums like social networks, direct marketing, email, mobile and more. I tend to think outside the box and swim against the tide. I may not be an expert at everything, but I learn fast.

As Content Marketing Lead, I produce content in collaboration with e27's content partners, which mainly consist of stakeholders in the Southeast Asia startup ecosystem. I also manage the content marketing calendar, which includes working with accounts management and business development teams in ensuring the timely delivery of assets for both internal and external clients.

I managed the Contributor Programme, which provides a platform for Southeast Asia's startup founders, investors, and entrepreneurs to reach audiences across the region and around the world. Around 40 percent of the content at is submitted by the community through this platform.

As copy editor, I helped improve the quality of internally-produced content assets.

I developed, managed and executed content strategy for improved branding and increased engagement for technology companies involved in marketing automation, business intelligence, enterprise resource planning, network security and more.

I crafted case studies for Microsoft clients and partners meant for B2B markets, as part of the Microsoft APAC Voice of the Customer Program. I also produced materials like presentation decks, infographics, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts, for enterprise clients.




I co-founded and partly ran a small outsourcing team that specializes in digital content, social media management services, virtual assistance and web development. We have managed projects of all sizes, including producing volume work for content-driven websites. We have also done social media marketing campaigns for startups and brands looking to engage local and global audiences.

I covered startup news and interviewed startup founders, investors and venture capitalists. I actively bridged stakeholders in the regional startup ecosystem through my work with startup founders, investors and media practitioners.I also helped organize e27's flagship Echelon event, a two-day tech conference that brings together more than 1000 founders, investors, corporates, government agencies and students from around the world.

I conceptualized and launched the Tech Wire Asia website, produced daily news and editorials on the Asia technology scene, and executed the publication's social media strategy.

I spearheaded the development of new media services, portals and applications and ensured smooth operation of existing ones.

I advised the publisher and the team on strategic interventions and investments, such as acquisition of various online properties.

I helped rebuild my department's information systems, including a database for tracking project processing and information.

As brand manager for the i.PH blogging and social networking service, I worked with developers, quality assurance teams, marketing and customer service department in building features, ensuring usability and advocating use of the product.


Special Interests and Certifications

As a licensed amateur radio operator (Philippine call sign 4I1RAC, U.S. call sign N2RAC), I am active in the local and regional telecommunications scene. I have volunteered to host net calls on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis -- net calls are conducted to gather and recognize amateur radio operators and their respective club affiliations, and disseminate relevant information, as well as educate newcomers about proper amateur radio procedures.

Amateur radio net calls can also be used to extend assistance during emergencies or calamities, as proven in recent emergencies such as storms, earthquakes and other natural disasters, during which other communications infrastructure such as cellular or landline networks may be overloaded, damaged or unavailable.

I have held Civil Service Professional eligibility since 2002.
