I am a technology journalist, writer and content strategist with an interest in technology startups, mobile platforms and enterprise applications. I have managed and written for a variety of publications in technology, enterprise, automotive, social media and business niches.

I build case studies and human-interest features on enterprise platforms, targeting both consumer and B2B customers. I also assist technology startups gain visibility through content strategy.

Prior to my involvement in media, I also served the public sector as an economist, after which I ventured into IT as a brand manager and application developer. I have also done freelance work as a columnist and speaker, and I do business development for a small outsourcing/freelancing team.

As a licensed amateur radio operator (Philippine call sign DW1ZDK, U.S. call sign N2RAC), I am active in the local and regional telecommunications scene. I have volunteered to host net calls on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis.

In the amateur radio community, net calls are conducted to gather and recognize amateur radio operators and their respective club affiliations, and disseminate relevant information, as well as educate newcomers about proper amateur radio procedures.

Amateur radio net calls can also be used to extend assistance during emergencies or calamities, as proven in recent emergencies such as storms, earthquakes and other natural disasters, during which other communications infrastructure such as cellular or landline networks may be overloaded, damaged or unavailable.
