About Me

An experienced nonprofit manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jane von Bothmer remains active with a large number of charitable groups in the region. Aside from her work with educational nonprofits, Jane von Bothmer is a former member of the Board of Directors of HandsOn Bay Area (HOBA). A nonprofit that identifies community service opportunities and matches volunteers with open positions, HOBA partners with local facilities, such as schools and parks to develop a series of high-impact, volunteer-driven service projects. Thanks to the contributions of benefactors, HOBA works with more than 200 nonprofits across the Bay Area to address issues of health and aging, homelessness, hunger, education and literacy, the environment, and HIV/AIDS. Jane von Bothmer earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. Before attending business school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same institution.
