Jane Reid has been the Marketing Consultant for the Laurelwood Shopping Center since 1999. She has done an outstanding job devising and implementing a marketing plan for the shopping center currently including consistent direct mail program, web site creation (www.LaurelwoodCenter.com) and "Shop San Mateo" campaign. She has truly been an asset to the promotion and marketing of Laurelwood Shopping Center.
Reid Marketing Services has provided marketing coordination for Evergreen Village since 2002. Jane's creative talents have been an asset to Shapell Industries of Northern California. From successful Summer Concert Series to effective advertising programs, Jane achieves strong results. She is a responsible, dedicated consultant and works well with the center merchants.
It is my pleasure to recommend Jane Reid for any position relating to Marketing and Communication. I have known Jane since 1989, she has reported to me on two different occasions throughout the years, the latest being the Senior Marketing Manager for The Village at Corte Madera where she oversaw the Marketing program for this upscale Specialty Center in Marin County. She also held the position of Marketing Manager for Westminster Mall in Southern California, where she managed a major renovation and Grand Opening. In addition, I have worked with Jane on a consulting/special project basis within her consulting business.
Jane is a true professional with a strong work ethic and a commitment to any job she undertakes. She has a tremendous amount of Marketing, Special Events and Advertising experience. I would not hesitate to make my highest recommendation.
Until recently, I have been Jane's immediate supervisor at The Village at Corte Madera where she has served as the Senior Marketing Manager for the past three years. Jane's wonderful demeanor, her strong work ethic and her impressive marketing background have not only made her a true pleasure to work with and learn from, but have also made her a valuable asset to this center.
During Jane's tenure at The Village, she was responsible for implementing corporate advertising campaigns, generating positive PR for the center, maintaining media and community relationships, event planning/execution and budget management. Jane's success in all of these areas was a result of her strong communication skills, her organizational abilities, her creativity, her attention to detail and her ability to stay cool under pressure. She was often challenged to do more with less, yet she was never defeated and always found a way to answer that challenge.
I have had the opportunity of working with several marketing professionals in the shopping center industry and I am hard pressed to think of anyone more talented and enjoyable to work with than Jane Reid. I would highly recommend her for employment with your organization.
