Spearhead financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for Trane Residential Systems, a $2B division of Ingersoll Rand with sales offices and manufacturing locations in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Develop and analyze all corporate reporting packages, financial sections of Annual Operating Plan, financial modeling for Long Range Plans, RS financial and related sections in Board of Director presentations, 10Q/K, earnings release scripts, and other public disclosures. Develop and report key business metrics to facilitate understanding of business performance, including continued efforts to improve the FP&A capability and processes within the organization of 50+ finance associates.

¨Identified $20M in 2008 expense reductions that were implemented by Business Unit Leaders.

¨Drove Lean Six Sigma effort as the Six Sigma Lean Process Champion for Finance to implement process improvements and to manage SOX compliance initiative enterprise-wide.

¨Implemented SOX throughout the financial structure without additional resources.

¨Leveraged SOX efforts and systems to standardize and consolidate core processes during implementation resulting in improved productivity.

After acquisition of Trane by Ingersoll Rand, moved into the acting CFO role while continuing responsibilities as Director of Finance.As acting CFO, lead the integration effort of financial systems and processes into the Ingersoll Rand business as well as the 2009 Long Range Planning and Annual Operating plan process during a market down turn and stressed economic conditions.

Interacted with auditors during review of audit exceptions and developed solutions.

¨Developed and launched new accounting policies and procedures.

¨Improved efficiency and effectiveness of consolidated reporting through reorganization of the Group Finance area.

Lead the payroll shared service organization with responsibilities for payroll and benefit operations for the Unitary Products division of the company.Payrolls covered 4,000+ employees in 36 states with 3 major union contract payrolls.Responsible for the payroll operation, accounting, forecasting and analysis of both payroll and benefit accounts. Created many auditing routines to prevent overpayment of employees, inaccurate benefit census reporting, saving the company ~$100K/year.
