Internship Lamb to a lion

Dear Jamison Green,

Congratulations! Based on your experience, education and interview I would like to offer you a Marketing & Public Relations internship with Lamb To A Lion Productions!

Your internship will begin on May 23, 2010. You will be scheduled for 15 hours of work per week for a total of 8 weeks.

Internship Description

As a Marketing & Public Relations Intern, you will be responsible for establishing the first point of contact for many of our potential clients. You will learn to hone your interpersonal skills, strengthen your follow up habits, and learn to creatively pitch high-cost services to clients. Lamb To A Lion Productions is particularly interested in implementing a 3 Phase Marketing plan to ensure success in 2010 to 2011.

Your days will primarily consist of the following activities:

  • Assist in building a national database of prospective clients.
  • Assist with maintaining contact with television, radio, print and online media outlets in order to secure coverage for events.
  • Call nationwide colleges and universities using a pre-assigned on-line list.
  • Enthusiastically pitch our performances to decision-makers.
  • Systematically follow up with potential clients with Electronic Press Kits, emails and phone calls.
  • Submit simple daily and weekly reports.

You Will Need

  • Online access during your work hours.
  • To meet deadlines.
  • Internet research skills.
  • A positive, upbeat and determined personality.

Technology has enabled us to offer "Virtual Internships" around the country. Our interns are located in several cities throughout the US, which adds to a colorful team of young professionals with diverse backgrounds.

As you know, this does require more discipline than in-office internships but we believe you have what it takes.

Interns will submit reports on a daily and weekly basis. We will have telephone meetings a few times a week to get your feedback, identify and solve problem areas, and check on your progress. Please express yourself freely during these meetings because if we are aware of your concerns, we can work to improve your experience.

College Credit

Lamb To A Lion Productions will gladly provide you with documentation in order to gain college credit in exchange for your internship. Since every school works differently, please contact your career services department and let us know what to submit on your behalf. You will also leave with priceless experience that will assist you in many other areas of your budding career

One of the goals of our Marketing plan is to secure contracts from various schools for our productions. Each intern will be responsible for a specific geographical reason and will act as an Assistant Account Executive for the schools in that reason. For every school that signs a contract and secures a date with Lamb To A Lion Productions, you will receive a $200 bonus.

We are very excited to work with you Jameson. I will give you a call prior to your start date to go over final details.
