About Jamie Crisp

Since 2003, Jamie Crisp has taught global studies and advanced US history courses in South Carolina high schools. In his recent position at J. L. Mann High Academy, Jamie Crisp served as the social studies department chair and oversaw the addition and training of three staff members. His administrative experience includes teacher mentoring, faculty performance evaluation, and curriculum development and implementation.

An award-winning high school football player, Crisp has utilized his skills to coach a variety of high school sports. He now has 10 years of coaching experience in baseball, football, tennis, and track at schools in the Greenville County School District.

Jamie Crisp obtained his bachelor’s degree in secondary education with an emphasis in history and geography from Clemson University. Later, he earned his MS in specialization in leadership in educational administration at Capella University.

Over the years, he has participated with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity that funds research into potential childhood cancer cures.
