About Jamie Boneparth

Inspired by Ernest Hemingway and James Joyce, Jamie Boneparth is presently embarking upon a career as an author by writing a book of short stories. He previously created a number of journals and worked with inner-city youth at the University of Iowa’s Urban Teacher's Poetry Workshop. Jamie Boneparth prepared for his current writing ventures by attending several multi-week writing and poetry courses at Grub Street in Boston, Massachusetts, and by completing several creative writing and English courses at the university level. He also holds a bachelor of arts in journalism form Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and a master of science in leadership from Northeastern University in Boston.

In addition to working on his short fiction compilation, Jamie Boneparth is currently writing a treatise on etymology and several autobiographical tales that detail his experiences on the African island of Rodrigues. Mr. Boneparth draws considerable inspiration from classic literature, and he is a fan of impressionist painting and diverse forms of music.
