About James Tony Wilkins Golf

James Tony Wilkins, an experienced golf professional and instructor, has been a member of the Professional Golfer's Association (PGA) since 1989. He was named first team all league of the South Puget Sound League while at Sumner High School. He played on the David Lipscomb University Golf Team for four years and won the 1986 Tennessee Athletic Conference Championship. After graduating with his bachelor's degree in communications and marketing, Mr. Wilkins began his career at Meridian Valley Country Club in the Pacific Northwest Section PGA.

Actively involved with the Western Washington Chapter PGA beginning in 1991, Mr. Wilkins has served as the chapter's secretary, vice president, and president. Also a past board member of the Pacific Northwest Section PGA, he has shared his knowledge of the game as a professional and an instructor with a number of Washington country clubs. He most recently served as the director of instruction at Sahalee Country Club, where he used video feedback and other innovative techniques to more effectively teach club members and students.
