Extensive retooling was implemented to ensure the company was an industry leader. Created dynamic interactive integrations of advertising campaigns for effective brand messaging of the trademarked "SpiderPlow" name.

Reporting to the CEO, the Business Development position had responsibilities included ensuring sales remained in alignment with our annual marketing strategy and financial targets.

SpiderPlow USA quickly grew into a company synonymous with excellence.  Despite this rapid growth rate, the company was managed to maintain operating margins in excess of 40%.

With growth came the inception of SpiderPlow Canada Ltd. The company quickly became well established in the Oil & Gas industry and was featured as technology of the year by: Oil &Gas magazine. This became a key turning point as the company's services and reputation were integrated into top tier engineering firms and E&P companies RFP's as a preferred method of pipe installation.  

Entrepreneurial spirit of this company led to innovative solutions for our clients and the eventual acquisition by "SSI".

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and construction fundamentals for this light to heavy utility construction firm that has experienced growth from sixty employees to approximately four hundred.  Like any aggressive reputable company in the mid 1990's, OTS grew its business faster than its internal infrastructure, within four years, revenues increased from $10M to $38M, establishing several offices throughout the United States. The company was also key player involved in completing Premise wiring projects, focusing in the Tri-Sate area.  This was a valuable learning experience that provided me with a discipline for strong focus on customer relations and project management. 

  • Implemented and used MS Project for all the companies Southeast and Midwest division's projects.
  • Developed relationships with key clients
  • Supervised Aerial restoration construction crews on St. Thomas after hurricane Marilyn.
  • Successfully managed a Fiber Optics Cable Landing site for AT&T Submarine Systems. The team had to perform in an environmentally sensitive area of Vero Beach, FL. The cable provided long distance services to the Bahamas.
  • Participated in completing over thirty (30) OSP turnkey projects throughout the United States.
  • Gained intricate knowledge and successfully completed over forty (40) Premise wiring projects. Included: Hospitals, Hotels, new building construction, system upgrades for Schools and Municipalities.
