James Barclay

James Barclay

A dynamic, highly motivated self-starter who adapts quickly and responds positively to new challanges. Having begun my career within the faced-paced environment of an investment bank, I possess a firm basic understanding of finance and investment within the business world.

My subsequent experience with a global investment and development firm specialising in environmentally sustainable luxury leisure, sports and lifestyle communities has equipped me with the necessary skills to channel such a project from conceptualisation through to completion and operation.

My commitment to ongoing studies supplements these skills.

My specific interests lie with the investment in and development of emerging market destinations - in particular, the luxury hospitality and exclusive residential sectors, although I also remain interested in mixed use opportunities.

I am therefore seeking a diverse and challenging role within a related  firm (such as a resort development group or an investment outfit with interests in hospitality). This would afford me the ability to apply my skill sets and experience to such a portfolio of projects whilst offering me solid scope for career progression within the organisation.
