James Amps

James Amps is a motivational speaker and entrepreneur who has served as managing partner of AMPS International for nearly a quarter century. This Pembroke Pines, Florida-based organization markets his talents in the fields of corporate and professional inspirational messaging and skill-building. A published author as well as a public speaker, James Amps released the book Speaking to Excel in 2000. He also wrote a special report for professionals that stresses the importance of effective communication in the workplace. Both of these publications are available online.

Outside of the professional arena, James Amps is a member of the United States Concealed Carry Association and the American Numismatic Association. In addition to collecting and viewing rare coins, he enjoys traveling, golfing, bowling, cooking, and cheering on Florida’s Miami Heat and the University of Miami Hurricanes. He is also an avid reader who particularly likes the Tom Clancy novel Hunt for Red October.
