Crusher operator is in charge of all functions of potash feed to the plant. Duties include monitoring metso feed function and speed, keeping all hoppers, crushers, magnets, screens, conveyor belts and transfer towers clean of buildup and spills. Minor troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on parts, changing washed valves. Safety being a priority at Compass Minerals, all duties are performed in a clean and organized workplace while following all safety regulations, rules and lock out tag out procedures.

Floor Hand

All basic tasks of a floor hand on an oil drilling rig: Making pipe connections, pulling drill pipe through v door using winch lines, loading drill pipe onto pipe rack using forklift or loader, rigging up and down for rig moves, using forklift to set stack for nippling up on well head. Oil rig cleanliness and safety are a big part of every task performed on the rig. Filling out JSA's, lifting permits, lock out tag out procedures, cleaning rig floor for the next work process and following all safety rules, standards and regulations.

Worked all basic electrical installation and maintenance, commercial to residential. Dug underground lines using track hoe or back hoe. Set and repaired light poles using forklifts and boom truck. Climbed and installed antennas on cell phone towers. Operated all basic hand and power tools. Worked with blue prints and drawings for layouts and measurements.

Worked in clean room assembly, duties included assembling fabricated and machined parts using welder, nut and bolt, dowel pins. Passivated and cleaned stainless nuclear parts per procedures, fit up tests and modifications, drilling and reaming with hand drill and drill press. Used overhead crane to lift and roll parts while following all lifting procedures and weight limitations. Used forklift to move pallets, assist the crane to roll parts and assemble parts overhead. Operated various sizes of fork lifts, cranes, hand tools and welder. Worked with drawings and prints in both standard and metric dimensions and measurements.
