- Two 200-m tall residential towers with each comprising 47 residential floors and 2 service area floors on top of a 4-level podium.
- Additional podium level apartments on the 1st and 2nd floor levels plus 14 units of 2-storey townhouses that fronts a landscaped deck on the 3rd floor level.
- A ground floor level purposely for retail outlets and outdoor dining areas.

Lead structural engineer for the detailed design of a cluster of six seven-storey luxury residential buildings. I was in charge of managing the design deliverables and coordination with the other engineering disciplines.

The project also involved construction of Hotel Buildings, Yacht Club, Mansions and Villas.

  • Job manager of a number of detailed seismic assessments of buildings in Wellington, New Zealand.
  • Lead structural analyst for the structural seismic assessment of the Majestic Centre, a 32-storey reinforced concrete structure and is dubbed as the tallest building in Wellington, New Zealand. The work is part of a peer review for the strengthening concepts proposed by another engineering consultancy firm. Responsibilities include structural modelling in SAP2000 and PERFORM 3D and running a non-linear time history analysis to identify the structural deficiencies of the structure.
  • Lead structural analyst mainly responsible for the structural modelling of the building in PERFORM 3D and running a non-linear time history analysis using actual earthquake records to identify the causes of the building collapse of the Pyne Gould Corporation Building during the February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake, New Zealand.
  • Responsible for the structural modelling in ETABS and base isolation concept design for the existing 8-storey reinforced concrete building located in 224 Cashel Street, Christchurch, New Zealand.
  • Structural analyst for the structural seismic assessment of an existing 32-storey reinforced concrete building located at 2 Gilmer Terrace, Wellington. Responsibilities include work plan preparation and non-linear time history analysis and modelling the soil-structure interaction to check the feasibility of rocking in reducing the seismic demands on the structure.
  • Structural analyst for the concept design of two new 40-storey Commercial Buildings and a 50-storey, 200m tall Residential Tower located in Singapore. The work includes independent review and structural modelling in ETABS as part of an internal verification process.
  • Led the structural analysis on the seismic performance assessment of the existing Reserve Bank of Wellington using non-linear time history analysis and proposal of retrofit options to the existing building. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand Wellington building is a mixed-use 15 storey structure consisting of a 54-meter tall, 13 storey office tower; a 2 storey podium and a 2 storey below grade basement.
  • Responsible for the structural dynamic analysis of the existing William Clayton Building located in Molesworth Street, Wellington to determine the seismic performance level of the existing structure including the base isolation system to current design standards using modal response spectrum analysis in SAP2000. The existing William Clayton Building is a four storey reinforced concrete structure with a single storey below grade basement and is the first base isolated building in the world.
  • Responsible for the ETABS structural modelling review of a new 46-storey and 25-storey structures by St. Regis in Jakarta, Indonesia. Responsibilities include checking of the structural model created in ETABS and the loads applied to the applicable codes and standards.
  • Led the structural analysis on the seismic performance assessment of the existing ten storey reinforced concrete structure with a single storey basement located at 22 The Terrace to current design standards using modal response spectrum analysis and pushover analysis in ETABS. Responsibilities also include work and verification plan preparation.
  • Responsible for the structural assessment of the existing Condenser Transformer Building for Transpower located in Haywards to 1/2500 year return- period earthquake magnitude. It also includes proposal of strengthening options for the existing building structure.
  • Responsible for the structural seismic assessment of the existing 3 12-storey reinforced concrete building structures of the Istanbul Special Provincial Administration and Project Coordination Unit, Istanbul, Turkey and conceptual design for base-isolation as a strengthening option for improving its seismic resilience. The structural analysis and modelling is done using ETABS software.
  • Responsible for the structural analysis for the base isolation of a 700 ton boiler-structure by Carter Holt Harvey. Role includes modelling of the boiler structure in SAP 2000 and running Modal Response Spectrum Analysis to come up with an initial result for base isolators design criteria.
  • Responsible for the probabilistic seismic hazard analyses for different locations across New Zealand which include Ahuroa Gas Storage Project, Whakamaru sub-station, Mckays-to-Peka-Peka project and Kawerau Boiler project. The main project outcome of such project is derivation of an earthquake spectrum specific for the site.
  • Led the structural dynamic analysis of an existing 3-storey steel support frame by Methanex Ltd. for the installation of a new deaerator vessel fixed atop the steel structure and also aimed at obtaining the seismic accelerations at the different levels of the structure.

Led the structural analysis to determine the seismic performance assessment of the existing Reserve Bank of Wellington to the current building code and standards using non-linear time history analysis and proposal of retrofit options to the existing building. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand Wellington building is a mixed-use 15 storey structure consisting of a 54-meter tall, 13 storey office tower; a 2 storey podium and a 2 storey below grade basement.

Responsible for the structural assessment of the existing Condenser Transformer Building to 1/2500 year return- period earthquake magnitude. It also includes proposal of strengthening options for the existing building structure.

A project costing 60 Million Qatar Riyals and it involves road construction and maintenance of existing roads including replacement of existing Underground Public Utilities (Waterline System, Telephone Lines, Street Lighting, Electrical Lines and Surface Water Drainage System).

Planning Engineer for the Qatar University project costing 30 Million Qatar Riyals involving construction of Roads and Underground Public Utilities (Sanitary Sewage System, Telephone Lines, Street Lighting, Electrical Lines and Surface Water Drainage System). Main responsibilities include project management and scheduling, costing and valuation engineering.

The project involved a goldmine plant project of the Saudi Arabian Mining Company consisting of 9 Structural Steel Mill Buildings (Zinc Floatation, Crusher Building, Grinding Bldg., etc) and 4 Maintenance Pre-engineered Warehouse Buildings. Responsibilities include construction monitoring and checking of structural details.

Responsibilities include structural analysis (frame and elements) and design checking for on-going Steel Structure Projects (Mill Buildings and Warehouses) and Reinforced Concrete structures using design software (STAAD PRO, ETABS), verification of structural design data and output in conformance to applicable Design and Building Codes and structural detailing and drafting for proposed plans using AUTOCAD Software.

  • IL Primo Towers, Downtown West Dubai - Two very slender 356-m and  300-m tall Residential Towers in Dubai, UAE
  • IMMO Prestige Residential Tower, Dubai Marina - 300-m+ tall high end residential tower in Dubai Marina. It is a very slender tower with a ratio close to 13:1.
  • Harbour Views Towers, Dubai Creek Harbour Island Development - Two 200-m tall residential towers with each comprising 47 residential floors and 2 service area floors on top of a 4-level podium.
