- Provided aid in fire suppression using a variety of tools and equipment, ranging from hand tools to power tools, with the intent of preserving natural land. - Performed line construction in accordance to crew protocols, working with fellow crew members, using various tools such as McLeod, Pulaski, saws, and rakes, creating a break between the fire and susceptible fuels.- Performed burning operations on fire incidents in which the intent was to either create an adequate fire break between fire and natural land or simply eliminating fuels that presented risk of creating a greater fire intensity, using drip torches, fusees, bombs, and lighters.
