Machinist and Assembly

Ford Motor Company

My present duties at Ford Motor Company include but are not limited to: Assembly line, quality control, Saftey representative for my team, Experience in Machining, Cast/ Aluminium, Drills, Lathes, Mills, Grinders and Lapers, Shipping and Recieving Clerk, Experience with Robotics, Quality and Saftey Classes, Over Head Cranes and Hoist, and Forklift Operator.

Shipping/Recieving Clerk & Production

My duties in production were as follows: Sub assembly stations and curing machines, maintenance and saftey projects. I was also assigned as PIC (person in charge) for my zone. My duties in shipping/recieving included: Loading and unloading trucks, working with scanners for inventory purposes and to create invoices, worked with the ASN 400 computer program, production control on a daily basis, and responsible for training new hires.

Forklift Operator/Warehouse

My duties included loading and unloading trucks of various items. Which included inspecting all inbound and outbound loads for defects and keeping a log of all outbound loads. I am also trained in driving various types of Forklifts, and using the ASN 400 computer program. I was also responsible for training new hires and assigning job duties.

Hospital Corpsman

United States Navy

I was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1993, in which I held my rank as an H-3. I attended my A-School Training in San Diego, California. I then was re-assigned to Portsmith, Virginia, where I worked at Portsmith Naval Hospital. There my duties included working in the Emergency Room, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Orthopaedic and Psychiatric Unit. I was responsible to administer medications such as injections and oral. Other job duties included, starting I.V's, assisting with minor surgeries, counselling patients with drug addiction, alcohol abuse and anger management.

Interest

My interest involve spending time with my family, sporting events with my children, hunting, fishing, camping and playing music (drums, guitar and bass). I am involved in a music ministry at my church where myself and my family serve the Lord.

Robotics and Automated Equipment

Resetting of various faults, resolving diagnostic issues, using teach pendant to recaliberate robots, assisting engineers with set up and teaching programs. Assisting various tradesman with trouble-shooting.  I am also trained in Lock out procedures when working with robots.

Tool Set-up

Changing and setting up tools for machining purposes. i.e., drills, mills, taps and various cutters.

Gages

 Which are heads, blocks, and cranks. i.e.,Keeping documentation every hour which measures the different tolerances of automotive components.., manual gages, digital, air gages,  and go & no go gages.
