I have worked in the transportation industry for nearly a decade and until the past couple years, I thought I was on the right path. In the past couple years, I made a commitment to myself that I would lose weight, but that I would do it the right way so as to keep it off. I read articles on eating right and taught myself to make better choices. I also added strength training and cardio exercises to my daily routine. I've lost nearly 100 pounds and I've kept it off! I see myself teaching others to do exactly what I did. I want others to understand that it doesn't happen overnight or even over a month's time. I want to help others to rebuild their spirit and I believe that dietitians do that for others. I know that this is the right path for me.
