Continued to enhance my experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing DC and AC variable speed drives.

Dan River, Inc. – Danville, VA (1989 to 1999) – Electrical Troubleshooter - Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining plant equipment. Focusing primarily on electrical-related problems, I was also required to have extensive mechanical knowledge of the equipment.

U. S. Navy – Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville, FL (1985 to 1989) – Electricians Mate Third Class – Experienced in the wiring of motor-controller equipment. Familiar with wiring and disconnecting electric motors and installing cable runs between motors and control equipment, in addition to troubleshooting and repairing various types of control equipment. Experienced in installing/replacing circuit breakers from ship’s distribution switchboard and main power panel. Experienced in the installation of step-up and step-down transformers and associated wiring procedures.
