Office Manager

Emerald Architectural

As the Office Manager at Emerald, I am primarily responsible for managing all accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee payroll and company finances. In addition, I am also constantly putting my writing and public relations background to work--I not only draft correspondence between Emerald and Emerald's clients but I also work to build our brand and make sure our name is recognized in our industry. More simply put, I aim to anticipate and respond to the needs of our office, our team and our clients.

PR Intern

Braben Public Relations

As a PR intern in London I spent my time trying to gain as much experience as possible. My main projects included analyzing and compiling media audits, writing news releases, writing blog posts, and corresponding with and pitching to journalists. As our office's intern, I was also responsible for creating and maintaining coverage reports and for keeping up with news in both national and trade publications. Working abroad was an unforgettable and wonderful challenge. Hopefully, it's an opportunity I will have again someday!

Marketing & Special Events Intern

Krannert Art Museum

While working as an intern at KAM, I was fortunate enough to work with both curators and directors to ensure the museum's events and exhibitions were organized, attended and publicized. The majority of my time was spent working on KAM's annual Petals & Painting fundraiser and the traveling exhibition, An Architect Collects. As the museum's only intern, I also worked to edit exhibition catalogues and maintain the websites for the exhibitions An Architect Collects, Uninterrupted Flux and Branded On Display.
