  • Using social media, e-mail and face to face discussions to gain feedback on the student experience and any issues that arise.
  • Attending regular meetings to discuss issues with faculty staff and participate in finding solutions.
  • Directing students to relevant university services that will help with any personal or academic issues.

In an example of my role, a lecturer was having issues uploading course material to the university website. By liaising between students, the lecturer and senior staff, the problem is being addressed and until the issue is fully resolved I suggested that all material be compressed and distributed to students via e-mail.
