Construction worksite safety inspections/recommendations. Promote occupational health and safety within the operation and develop safer and healthier ways of working. Implement company HSE policy and HSE Management System(HSEMS) Ensure that workplaces conform to organizational procedures and safety standards and practices. Inspect, evaluate construction sites and provide clients with detailed reports on- Non compliance, non conformance, identified hazards, unsafe work procedures/practices. Advise on proper signage, demarcation of identified hazard areas. Monitoring, inspecting & ensuring safe area, equipment & work activities at site through inspections, walkthroughs, permit to work follow ups and audits. Advice/lead managers/supervisors on implementing and maintaining proper EEP's Analyze risks and prioritize corrective and preventive actions and advise site management accordingly Provide guidance on training needs. Ensure personal protective equipment(such as protective overalls, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets), are used in the workplaces according to regulations Train and advice on approved PPE and the proper use thereof. Ensure dangerous materials are correctly stored. Design and implement emergency action plans. Investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action Ensure clients are compliant with all relevant legislation and safety acts. Communicate frequently with management to report on the status of occupational health and safety programs. Producing concise reports for managers on Health and Safety matters. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing regulatory and compliance data and trends. Performing root cause analysis for incident/accident investigations. Maintaining an audit trail of all H&S documents.
