Habitat for Humanity of Indiana- State Support Organization
Manage all government grant writing and administration for Indiana State Support Organization focusing primarily on the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. Worked with State Director and Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority to secure $700,000 HOME grant to construct 19 units. Complete monitoring and compliance checks, and provide support for all Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Indiana participating in government grant programs. Organize advocacy and outreach efforts for state office, including: facilitation of Habitat Indiana Lobby Day event including recruiting participants, matching participants with legislators and compiling results following the event; preparing information and needs assessments for legislative committee testimony; and dispersing information about advocacy issues to affiliates and the public through website and social media.
