Description: It’s an online shopping application developed in ASP.NET and C# the interactive portion known as content management system allows administrator to manage products, categories, users and photo gallery. It provides broad array of services to its customers worldwide with interactive facilities on-line product B2C and B2B shopping, online payment through Pay pal and ccavenue, also have facilities like product gallery, product search, latest arrival and featured product specification.

Responsibilities:

·          Worked with client to plan and schedule the stages for successful development and implementation

6. Menu System (Role Based Access Control).

Client: On request.

Environment: Visual Studio 2005, C#, ASP.NET, SqlServer 2000.

Description: Any user of Menu System can be allocated a specific “role”. This view will directly impact the features and capability the user will see and be able to use when logged into Menu System. It provides the administrator with the capability to assign different roles to different user. It includes the capability to establish relations between roles as well as between permissions and roles and between users and roles. Once the system has determined which role a user has been given, then the role overlays that default model to provide a set of functionality based on a combination of the roles.

Responsibilities:

·        Implemented the Role concept

·        Designed the UI for Admin i.e. implementing the Role Administrator to specify which options appear on the Menu Bar and Tabs section of the GUI when a user from a particular Role logs in, including the default role.

·        Wrapped the front section with the ‘Role i.e. taking the contents of the Role from the business layer and the security privileges and applying it to the UI. This controls the access to the menu.
