I started off as busboy, learned how to bus tables, restock, deal with a kitchen, and work in a very busy restaurant environment. I eventually was promoted to server and gained experience dealing with the customers in a more personal way than before. Really developed good multi-tasking skills through this job.
Busser: responsibilities included cleaning tables, restocking, working with kitchen staff, and food prep in a high volume restaurant.
Waiter: responsibilities included providing knowledgeable and personal service to each customer.
