Working on a 7-member team, the Systems Engineer is responsible for the deployment and continued support for all servers used to support Clinical Applications, Administrative Tasks, and Developmental needs.

  • Create and deploy various server operating systems supporting Microsoft, Linux, and Citrix XenApp applications.
  • Reduce number of physical servers using VMware (ESX) virtualization technology.
  • Monitor and repair 850+ servers using such tools as HPSIM and SCOM.

As the Director of Technology for the City of Buena Vista, I was tasked with managing employees and contracts, as needed, to meet the technological needs of the City.   As the owner and operator of CyberTech, I was tasked with supervising all employees while overseeing marketing, accounting, and human resource needs.
Accounting & Payroll
While working at the City of Buena Vista, I designed and implemented an accounting package to service all financial aspects of the City.  During this period of time, I served a 6-month role as the Payroll / Human Resources Coordinator during the extended absence of the normal personnel.   Areas of accounting that I incorporated include: Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Payroll Personal Property & Real Estate Taxes Cash Collection General Ledger Utility Billing
