Summary

Jeffrey Holdeman is a 12 year veteran at SAP where he has demonstrated functional team leadership and industry knowledge while consulting at several multi-national corporations in the consumer goods, automotive, paper, high-tech and insurance industries.  Jeff is currently a Product Specialist with SAP BusinessObjects division in the Regional Implementation Group (RIG) for the Enterprise Performance Management solutions. Previously, he worked for 10 years at SAP America, Inc. as a Principal Applications Consultant where he was a key contributor and impact player in the success of nine full-cycle SAP implementation projects from inception to go-live and support. Jeff has also performed spot consulting and SAP Safeguarding services for more than 50 customers requiring in-depth and expert product knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects EPM and SAP Financials products.   A nationally known expert in SAP profitability solutions for financial planning and reporting, Jeff was recognized as a member of the SAP Platinum Consulting program from 2001 to 2007.

Project Scope: Raw Material Price Planning by the Sourcing organization

Role: SAP RIG back office and on-site consultant

Achievements:

  • Co-led this ramp-up project to become the first SAP BPC 7.0 NetWeaver go-live in the world
  • Successful replacement of manual processes which were using SAP BEx and MS Excel to help achieve business benefits and return on investment
  • Coached project team on advanced BPC features including script logic, data manager, and reporting in BPC for Excel
  • Provided a close watch on SAP Service Marketplace customer messages and assisted in the delivery of expedited solutions
  • Point of contact with SAP Development, SAP Solution Management, SAP Active Global Support and the SAP RIG

Role: SAP Platinum Consultant on the QTG1 and QTG2 Financial Planning team

Achievements:

  • Designed the overall financial data flow architecture between ERP and BW for financial planning and reporting including automated plan verses actual variance analysis
  • Responsible for design, configuration, testing, and go-live support for Profitability Analysis 
  • Designed, configured, and tested the customer and SKU allocation processes in BW-BPS
  • Wrote functional specifications and test scripts for several enhancements in CO-PA and BW-BPS
  • Provided direction and support to the general Controlling and Product Costing teams
  • Played major role in integration design and testing of financial flows between Logistics and Financials and Controlling
  • Material Ledger activation and changes to valuation settings resulted in becoming responsible for planning for and leading a database currency conversion project in 7 SAP G/L systems in coordination with the SAP System Landscape group

Achievements:

  • Designed the overall financial data flow architecture for the ERP system using IS-Auto solution in support of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes by the National Sales Company in France 
  • Prepared conversion file of chart of accounts and loaded to SAP using the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
  • Configured FI global settings and activated the New General Ledger including document splitting 
  • Responsible for design, configuration, testing, and go-live support for Controlling including Cost Center Accounting and Profitability Analysis for the National Sales Company in France 

Project Scope: (2) Global template for Indirect Materials and Finance

Role: (2) Controlling team lead for Indirect Materials and Finance global template project led by HP Consulting

Achievements:

  • Led SAP organizational hierarchy workshops with a global panel of GM stakeholders to recommend a global template for company code, chart of accounts, profit center, and cost center structures.
  • Led design workshops for requirements gathering related to SAP Controlling topics.  This resulted in the creation cross-functional process diagrams (swim lanes) and business blueprint design documents.
  • Detailed design, system configuration and documentation for Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Management and Profitability Analysis.
