To work in a challenging Senior Project Architect role in a design oriented firm, that encompasses my skills, passions, and experience managing large scale sports, hospitality, and retail projects.
I enjoy fostering a collaborative atmosphere between architects, designers, and consultants in the delivery of projects, believing that creative solutions are best achieved by bringing multiple perspectives to the table.
Ultimately, I'm looking for a team atmosphere where I can make a contribution toward the growth and development of the group, as well as achieving personal career goals.
I have performed a number of roles in my career, including; Project Architect, Design Coordinator, and Project Manager. I believe my teamwork skills and leadership capabilities are well developed and have been demonstrated in a variety of diverse situations.
My experience covers a wide range of building types including Sports & Entertainment venues, Hospitality, Retail, Food Service, Education, and Financial Institutions. The last 15 years have been focused on Sports facilities for professional and collegiate sporting events, and includes both renovation work, as well as new construction.
Strengths and skills include, but are not limited to:
Five year BARCH program with an emphasis on design.
Two year associates program with an emphasis on design and construction methodology.
Responsible for management of overall project development for Convention Center and Professional Sporting venues throughout the United States and overseas, from Concept Design through Construction Document Preparation.
Left the position due to a slow down in workload.
Principal in a start-up architectural firm focusing on Sports and Entertainment venues, with an emphasis on collegiate and community oriented facilities.
Left to accept a position with Gensler.
Responsible for management of the overall project development for professional and collegiate sporting venues throughout the United States, and overseas, from Concept Design through Construction.
The economic climate forced the closure of this office in the fall of 2010.
