General Foreman Plumber
((  30+ years )) I am the 5th generation of plumbers in my family. My experience in the construction trades began as a young teen.  I began my career in 1980, soon after I entered the plumbers apprenticeship in 1981. Working for my family business and running small projects.  Since then I have been working in the capacity of leadership in one form or another. My main focus has been building relationships with customers and completing projects on schedule and under budget. I have completed projects ranging from public housing in chester pa, corporate office complexes, all areas of health care and pharmacutical to federal consulate embassies in North Jersey that we shipped over seas to Pakistan and Russia. Qualified FBI security clearances.  My main experience in the past 15 years has been health care facilities and pharmacutical. I have approx. 20 years as a certified welder. I am also certified in Autocad and PD3D.

Temple University Science Education Research Center. A 7 story new construction research facility consisting of research labs. Here we are installing chemical piping, storm water, domestic water, grey water, compressed air and vaccum systems.

I was recently employed with Burns Mechanical as a general foreman on a service truck. Burns Mechanical is a full service mechanical contractor. We were actively working in Childrens Hospital, HUP, Jefferson, Pennsylvania hospital and a few others doing medium to large renovation projects. I have currently just completed a multiple floor patient room wing renovation in Pennsylvania Hospital along with two cath labs, a CyberKnife facility and large underground Gross lab. I have been at Pennsylvania Hospital for the past two years completing various projects large and small.

I worked for WCM doing small to medium sized service projects in hospitals and colleges including a 2 floor multiple wing patient room renovation at Bryn Mahr hospital. Also many short term projects at different commercial levels. Small projects division. Duties included but not limited to contractor coordination, time and labor estimation, scheduling and meeting expected completion dates.

I joined Binsky & Snyder early in 2010 to complete a fast track pharmaceutical project at Johnson & Johnson. Here I was responsible for a crew of 15 men to install sanitary piping, domestic water piping and compressed air piping over a period four months.

Voegele Mechanical

I worked for Voegele on several projects. The first being Wilson Park housing project. There I was responsible for installing gas piping to all of the 153 units. Mike long was my forman and we were a very productive crew. The next project I was transferred to was The Bookbinders project. There I stayed on from just about the beginning to the completion of the resturant and condos next door. I was responsible for the mechanical room piping and the commercial kitchen start to finish.

I was responsible for Tracey Mechanical's Deleware Division. With the manpower of 3-5 men we built two corporate centers for PNC bank. To the right is the first project PFPC Headquarters. A 4 story corporate center with a 4 story post tension parking garage. During my employment I was also responsible for traveling to Tracy's various jobs as their in house plumber welder.


Sherie McCarty

Sherie was the vice president of sales and service for Voegele Mechanical Services for many years.Has extensive experience in sales and engineering.Senior account manager for Schneider Electric engineering and is presently the director of business development at Advanced power control.A forward thinker and I consider her a leader in our industry.
