I majored in public relations at the University of Oregon (UO), and I have a strong background in writing for various communication mediums and extensive experience in social media, event planning and education and outreach management. After graduating with a B.A., I worked as a Junior Account Executive for Lorelli Associates, a full-service advertising agency in NYC. Currently I am working as the Marketing Manager for LeMetric Hair and Beauty Studio.

I was a previous intern for Sportsrageous.com, where I wrote news wraps about sports and had the opportunity to interview players, as well as contribute to other branch sites. Before that, I was a PR representative for a multicultural, student-led publication at the UO called Ethos. I enjoyed being part of the Ethos staff, because it gave me the opportunity to be versatile. As a freelance writer, guest blogger and PR rep, I've experienced the development and editorial side. Being on both ends gave me a cohesive picture of how a team functions to build and promote a publication that is constructive and educational. During my senior year in college, I had the opportunity to work with Holt International, an adoption agency and non-profit organization headquartered in Eugene, OR. I produced and pitched a public relations plan with my team members to help Holt International create a stronger relationship with its target audience.
