Project Overview

Chemoil handles hundreds of documents on a daily basis pertaining to the trades in the line of business and miscellaneous transactions. All the documents involved in the order life cycle / business are being managed manually at present. This involves a lot of activities like taking physical copies of the document, obtaining manual approval, maintaining them in the form of files etc.A lot of paper work is involved in this process and search for specific document at a later point of time becomes difficult and time consuming.

Responsibilities:

●Involved in the requirement analysis and low level design (LLD).

●Web Parts – user control developed by Asp.Net 2.0.

●Developed Custom Action (Delete, Manage Permission and ext.)

●Design the portal with SharePoint Designer.

●Developed Custom Lists, Site Columns, Content Types and Page Layouts.

●Experienced in Master Page, Event Handler and Customization in MOSS 2007.

●SharePoint Solution Deployment – WSP Package.

VT Group is a leading defense and support services company, providing engineering and other support services to governments and large organizations around the world. VT Group requires intranet portals to be setup for various business divisions. A total of 4 portals are being developed using SharePoint 2007 which includes a knowledge base and a bids management portal. The work involves creating Site Templates, Custom Navigation controls, custom web parts and extensive use of SOM to achieve functionality which is not available out-of-box

Project Overview

Mothercare has more than 370 stores throughout Great Britain, Europe, and the Middle East and Asia, Mothercare UK Ltd. is Britain's largest retailer of clothing and accessories for mothers and young children. Mothercare UK has a centralized inventory management system which is an IBM AS-400 based application. The requirement was to automate the manual process of wholesale ordering. A custom application was developed using WSS 3.0 that would allow users from UK and Hong Kong to co-ordinate the processing of creating price lists and purchase orders. The application had very deep levels of integration with the IBM AS-400 systems in order to minimize human intervention and errors.

Project Overview

A.P.Moller-Maersk is one of the biggest shipping companies in the world with over 800 ships operating all around the globe. Bunker Planner is an optimizer tool which supports decision making for cutting fuel costs, improving quality and managing fuel price risks. The core of the application would be the Model which was built on an Open source application called Coin or, this would interact with the Optimizer to bring out the results using built in Constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocating the tasks to team and guiding them.
  • Reviewing the Source Code and Unit Test Cases prepared by the team.
  • Co-coordinating the Quality Assurance team during the testing phase
  • Ensuring the quality of the development at each phase

Project Overview

Maersk Procurement is responsible for sourcing goods and services in the Group, selecting suppliers and negotiating agreements. They have been responsible for developing long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with a large number of suppliers across the world.Once the agreements are in place, the various business units in A.P. Møller - Maersk typically deal directly with the supplier. Maersk Procurement itself does not make any transactional purchases.

Promotional Items and Activities Department (PIA) is located in MPRO and has the objective to develop, administrate and sell promotional items to BU within the APMM Group. In developing items, PIA has close cooperation with Group Communication to follow branding directives. This activity is managed by the StarGate application which was developed based on Commerce Server 2002 and had a number of inherent drawback. To overcome these it was decided to replace the existing application with added features and bringing in the benefits of latest technology. This consists of three modules via, Biz Desk, Share point and eShop. This also has an Interface to communicate with other existing applications through the flat files generated according to the specifications.

Responsibilities:

·Handling a team of three, allocating the tasks, monitoring and guiding them.

·Discussing with the client about the clarifications and familiarize the team with the requirements, specifications, and development process.

·Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule.

·Keep the project manager informed of task accomplishment, issues and status.

·Reviewing the Source Code and Unit Test Cases prepared by the team.

·Co-coordinating the Quality Assurance team during the testing phase and ensuring the quality of the development at each phase.

Product- Clarus

American HealthNet Inc. is a leading supplier of Healthcare Information Systems software and services in the US, Nebraska.

The Clarus® Health Enterprise Information System was developed to meet the need for a HIPAA-ready integrated system that comprised a full complement of financial, clinical and departmental applications in a native Windows® environment, centered around an enterprise-wide Master Patient Index (EMPI).

It has several workflow modules like Patient Billing, Insurance Processing, Health Information Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Human Resources, Materials Management, General Ledger, Cash Management, Clinical Documentation, Central Scheduling, Order Management along with specialty modules like Laboratory Information System, Radiology Information System, Microbiology, Mammography, Pharmacy Information System.

Clarus - HL7(Health Level Seven)

HL7 Module transmits the data between the various system with in the hospital. HL7 is the service will do the following

  • Triggers an event and generates the HL7 Messages for all the hospital activities like Admissions,Orders, Order Results and Financial transaction.
  • It is configurable to send messages either flat file or TCP/IP based on the third party requirements.
  • All the events of ADT (A01,A02 etc) are Configurable.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coding and testing of various masters like Additives, Keyboard Setup, Work Lists, Instruments, Laboratory, Containers, Confidentiality Codes, Additional info items.
  • Responsible for coding and testing of various transaction use cases like Find Patients, Scheduled Orders, Specimen Tracking, Batch Finalize of Orders, Quality Control, Levey-Jennings QC Charts.
  • Evaluated various chart components and recommended 'Dundas Chart for .Net’ to use with this application.This third party component is used in Levey-JenningsQC chart.
  • Designed and developed independent system tray application 'LIS Agent' which reads the results from instrument interface and dumps the results in LIS database after validating the same for any criticals, delta checks and reflex testing.
  • Designed and developed reports using Crystal reports for .Net

Clarus - Updater

Updater tool used to avoid the need to reinstall Clarus applications in each workstations by manually whenever it undergoes a change. We accomplished this objective by incorporating self-update functionality for Clarus applications. We have a program for checking the availability of newer versions of Clarus applications in server and deploy it in the workstation.

Testing-zone is an online test canter, which enables organizations and education institutions to develop their own test modules. I was involved in the analysis and design along with the development of software code for the modules User Access, Administration Module, which involves creating tests (customized setup options), input questions and answers (customisation possible), also involved in assistance to team members in developing other modules.

Helpdesk (Customer Relationship Management tool)

Helpdesk is a web based CRM tool. It was developed using ASP.Net, which uses a component created in VB.Net. The component was created for user authorization. It also uses Directory Services (LDAP). The various modules include the log management, user management and reports. Log management allows the users to create a new log or update a current log. It works on the permissions set for the user and the group in which the user belong. Users can re-assign a log to another user in the same group. Users are allowed to be a member of more than one group at the same time. Each group leader is allowed to assign a log to the group members or to re-assign it to a different group. The user management module consisted of user, group management and permission wizard. The report module consisted of various reports with various filters.
