Dr. Ivan Mindlin is an accomplished doctor who currently lives in Henderson, Nevada. He began his education at McGill University in 1947, where he studied physiology and biochemistry. He graduated with honors from McGill in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science in physiology. He was also an active member of the ski team there. After graduation from McGill, Mindlin began attending the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He obtained his M.D. from Manitoba in 1955, where he was awarded the Bacteriology Medal. At Manitoba he was also involved with the ski team and the chess and bridge clubs. After medical school, Ivan began practicing orthopaedics with his company, Ivan Mindlin M.D. LTD in Las Vegas. There, he was the senior attending orthopaedic surgeon and was in charge of the full care of surgical patients and their rehabilitation. Continuing his medical career, Mindlin was also a 10-year teaching fellow at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey and was later affiliated with Hahnemann Medical School. He has consistently shown his dedication to medicine and caring for others through his pursuit of learning all there is to know about orthopaedics. Ivan Mindlin is also a member of the Fellow American College Surgeons. In his spare time, Dr. Mindlin enjoys many recreational activities. Some of the hobbies he enjoys most are skiing, photography, studying computerized training, hiking, and auto racing. His favorite authors include Wittgenstein, Popper, and Lawrence Durrell. His favorite book is Alexandria Quartet, while his favorite quote is, "Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think."
