Software Engineer

  • SM2A. Safety Margins Assessment and Applications. International Project led by the Nuclear Energy Agency. The main objective of the project is to develop a guidance on how to assess safety margins in nuclear power plants. The study applies Probabilistic Safety Assessment in a Dynamic way as well as Monte Carlo methods.
  • SCAIS. System of Codes for an Integrated Safety Assessment. Project developed in collaboration with the Spanish Nuclear Safety Council CSN. SCAIS is being developed to check the validity and consistency of many assumptions used by the licensees in their safety assessments.It implies an intensive use of code coupling techniques to join TermoHydrahulic analysis and probability calculation codes.
  • SIMPROC. Simulator of Procedures. Simulation tool designed to model any kind of procedure. Currently is being tested carrying out Emergency Operator Procedures of Nuclear Power Plants.

This project is being developed with free software (Linux, LaTex, C++, PostgreSQL)

  • October 2005-April 2007. Management Information Systems of America. Santander Group. Data warehouse. Platform building that makes up the process and Database of the bank in Latin America using J2EE and Oracle 10 technologies. Tasks:
    • Requirements definition and software development.
    • Team leader (four members).
  • July  to September 2005. Design a Plan Project. Abbey National bank. Santander Group in Glasgow (UK). Tasks:
    • To query the personnel of the bank in order to know the Insurance gaps between UK and Spain. Build documentation on this subject.
  • May to July 2005. Design and development of an Ocaso’s Claims Management platform. Technologies J2EE, Struts and DB2 Database. Tasks:
    • Programming new software requirements.
