My responsibilities include implementation of Concur T&E solution to new countries/legal entities, including credit card and lodge card integrations, ERP and HR integrations, super user training and roll out support. Every new implementation usually includes travelling on site for a kick-off meeting followed by a remote implementation. 

Other duties include supporting those Danfoss locations where Concur solution is already implemented. In total more than 35 locations worldwide. Support of concur super users may include these activities:

  • any country-specific statutory changes (Travel allowance rates, VAT rates, car mileage reimbursement rates etc.) and timely update in Concur expense module;
  • custom report building using Cognos Intelligence suite;
  • ERP interface mapping changes;
  • super user training and documentation;
  • change management; communication to key stake holders;
  • system optimization and improvements;
  • activation of new features/modules;
  • compliance/behaviour reporting.

Since June 2015 lead SAP HR/Concur integration project, a project aimed at replacing manual employee data maintenance in Concur with a global fully automated solution. Project includes different stakeholders and working with different teams: Infrastructure teams, Developers, SAP HR admins, Country managers and Finance. Data gap analysis, technical specifications, data model design, Concur system optimization are some of the tasks completed for this project.

Leading a small team of software implementation consultants to deliver expertise and client satisfaction across the customer base. Duties included project backlog monitoring, resource planning, project allocation, managing client escalations, ongoing support to the new team members during implementations, ensuring client needs are met in most effective way.

Worked on process optimization. Collaboration with various other teams (Account management, client support, technical services teams) on increase of overall customer satisfaction with implementation experience. At this time a new project management tool is introduced by the company to be used internally by all implementation teams (based on salesforce platform), so was a good chance to rethink the existing processes and create a better process that would ensure seamless and painless implementation to the customer.

Other duties included helping the sales team with implementation knowledge when help was needed during the sales cycle. Participation in design sessions and helping pre-sales consultants.

Job duties same as previous position but with bigger, more complex projects and/or strategic clients (Ikea, Zimmer, Boeringer Ingelheim, Abbott Labs)

Have been working with Concur R&D team to improve the cash advance module functionality offered by Concur. Collected and analysed use cases, gap analysis, suggest functionality improvements based on user feedback, presented enhancements to R&D team. Several improvements were approved by R&D and after put into production but others were rejected by Dev team.

During this time have also extended my knowledge of Concur products and have implemented first Concur Invoice product.

Also took a leading role in the localization project, setting up localization "board" who would need to review the product UI  translations offered by customers, and either approve or reject those suggestions. Every month the approved translations were put into the monthly service release.

Extra duty of training new starters who have joined the implementation team.

  • Gather information from customers, evaluate their needs and create an implementation solution.
  • Develop a project plan for each assigned project based on Concur’s methodology.
  • Responsible for the configuration of a customer’s specific environment.

My master's paper was based on the internet security - the paper described the types of cyber threats/viruses and classification of system vulnerabilities based on empirical experiment using port scanning software (network scanner).
