About Israel Martinez Cyber Security

With more than 20 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, Israel Martinez currently serves on the board of the United States National Cyber Security Council (NCSC), an organization of information executives that collaborates to thwart malicious cyber attacks. In addition to his role with NCSC, Israel Martinez serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Global Institute for Cyber Security at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Space Life Sciences Laboratory, the U.S. National Healthcare Information Sharing & Analysis Center, Globes International, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Axon Global Alliance.

Since 1993, Martinez has applied his crisis response and enterprise risk management planning expertise in board-level roles with many major corporations and advised them during serious crises, including the 9/11 World Trade Center attack. A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, he actively pursues postgraduate work at Harvard and participates in Israeli research on cyber offense practices. In 2015, he received recognition from HITEC as one of the Top 100 technology influencers. He has also earned the U.S. Senatorial Medal of Freedom.
